Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Globalio (“the app”) is run by Sean Joudrie, an individual developer based in the United States. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.

The service

Globalio is a free flags & geography game provided “as is”, for personal, non-commercial entertainment and learning. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we don’t guarantee the app will always be available or error-free.

Educational content

Facts, flags, maps and other content are provided for general interest and may contain simplifications or errors. Borders, names and political status of territories are shown without taking any political position, and should not be relied upon as authoritative.

Intellectual property

Flag and emblem images come from Wikimedia Commons under their respective licenses and remain the property of their authors. The Globalio name, original artwork, game design and written content are owned by the developer.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or misuse the app or its infrastructure.

Advertising

Globalio is free because it shows ads. Ads are provided by Google and are not endorsed by Globalio.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived, including in the EU and UK.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
